nursery part 1

we've recently said goodbye to our guest room to make room for the new little member of the family

daddy b and i moved all of the furniture out and he has been painting.
don't worry, i didn't really move anything!

like i said earlier, this munchkin wants to be in the middle of everything.

i have never been a fan of pink. other variations of pink, maybe, but not so much pink-pink. for some reason, the moment i found out we were having a little girl, i went nutso. no other color seemed to be right!

so, after seeking advice from other qualified indivdiuals - my mom, mil, sil and lucy - i was at peace with martha stewart's ballet slippers.
the name alone could sell you!

you may also notice the GOLD crib (from martha stewart's precious metals line). it's not quite complete; i have some touching up to do but i can't wait to see it in all it's glory. the bedding that my mother-in-law is making is FABULOUS and i'm dying to get everything in it's rightful place. we are ordering the glider this weekend - the final piece to the room (other than artwork)!

perry will arrive in approximately 10 weeks and i know they will fly by!

  1. It's all going to look GREAT, Julia. I love the gold crib and searched back through your older posts to see how it looks in your "vision" picture. CUTE!! Perry will be a blessed little lady to have you as her Mommy!
