aunt julia & uncle andrew

last wednesday, andrew and i got a small taste of what our lives will be like in less than two months...
we kept this little gem for a couple of hours while her mommy and daddy went to dinner:

she slept like this for about 20 minutes ...

after lillian woke up, uncle andrew wanted to teach her about the joys of organic farming.
she was quite enthralled! they watched a documentary and then played on the floor for awhile. i think he's going to do just fine with the who daddy thing!
we will watch this sweet little angel anytime! love her to pieces!

happy 4th of july!

we spent some time in sulphur springs for the 4th of july!
this is what i did:
(sorry for the blurry iphone pic)

this is what andrew & my brother, joel did:

little joel working hard

the boys made a gorgeous stone patio for my mom so that she would have extra room around the pool for our growing families.
this is the finished product:
i think i got the better end of the deal but our boys did an awesome job!

gratitute

for a little over a year and a half, i've been blessed by a very special group at the hospital:
they have loved me and supported me for so long as their volunteer coordinator! i love working with them and will miss them while i am away on maternity leave.

i'm so thankful for my coworkers - they put together this sweet shower for mr. b, baby perry and i!

panissa made the sweet decorations

all of the little girl gifts!

i loved the adorable monogrammed cake that panissa picked out! it was so heavy, linda had to help me hold it up!

so happy to be a part of this group! perry already has so many fans; and we are constantly reminded of how blessed we are by our friends and family in both abilene and sulphur springs. thank you all for loving us and for loving her.

6 and a half more weeks and she will be here (hopefully on time)!

ketchup

first of all, i have been a terrible blogger! i'm pretty embarrassed, actually.
the worst part is, i have actual stuff to blog about.
but we are busy bees in the belcher household!

here's another glimpse of perry's nursery
things have been at a standstill - but she has a beautiful crib skirt and gold bed:

and unhung curtains:
we will get there, i keep telling myself.

i spent my 30th week at dallas market buying for the hospital giftshop.
it's so fun!
during some of my free time, i found lots of fun fancies for perry:

thats right, her first pair of jeggings
can't wait until they fit!
after that, my mom came into town and we went to my 30 week appointment
(in reality, i was 31 weeks)
here's a little photo of our bebe:
we learned that perry should be in the 40th percentile when she is born - 6.12-7 lbs

we also shopped more. i can't wait to finish her closet so that i can hang all of her new pretties!
happy thursday, the weekend is almost here!

nursery part 1

we've recently said goodbye to our guest room to make room for the new little member of the family

daddy b and i moved all of the furniture out and he has been painting.
don't worry, i didn't really move anything!

like i said earlier, this munchkin wants to be in the middle of everything.

i have never been a fan of pink. other variations of pink, maybe, but not so much pink-pink. for some reason, the moment i found out we were having a little girl, i went nutso. no other color seemed to be right!

so, after seeking advice from other qualified indivdiuals - my mom, mil, sil and lucy - i was at peace with martha stewart's ballet slippers.
the name alone could sell you!

you may also notice the GOLD crib (from martha stewart's precious metals line). it's not quite complete; i have some touching up to do but i can't wait to see it in all it's glory. the bedding that my mother-in-law is making is FABULOUS and i'm dying to get everything in it's rightful place. we are ordering the glider this weekend - the final piece to the room (other than artwork)!

perry will arrive in approximately 10 weeks and i know they will fly by!

showered with love

this afternoon, andrew's wonderful coworkers threw us a baby shower. everyone was so sweet and generous - we had pizza, cupcakes and little baby girl decorations!

thank you all for thinking of us and celebrating little perry!

Preview

Thought i'd give a little nursery preview. Mr. b worked on Perry's room last night and had some help from this guy:

Notice the paint on the tip of his nose! He watched Andrew paint the whole time!

we have a little bit left but I can't wait to show the room once the furniture is in it's place!

Happy Thursday!
